Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy (born December 21, 1972) is an Indian politician and member of theParliament of India, representing the Kadapa constituency. His political party is the Indian National Congress. He is the Son of the current Chief Minister of Andhrapradesh Mr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.[1]. He is popularly known as jagan.

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was born in Pulivendula, Andhra Pradesh to Y. S. Rajashekhara Reddy and Vijaya Lakshmi. He has a sister, Sharmila. He attended Hyderabad Public School, his graduation from Nizam College.

Jagan Mohan Reddy started his career as an industrialist mainly setting up companies in remote areas. He announced that a steel factory would come up in Muddanur mandal ofJammalamadugu constituency with an investment of Rs. 3,500 crores.[2]. He is Chairman of Jagati Publications which owns telugu media, Sakshi newspaper and Sakshi news channel He took the Indian National Congress membership at an early age. His supporters also felt that by projecting Jagan mohan reddy as a young entrepreneur and a philanthropist, they could counter the charisma of cine stars, who have either started new political outfits or have been actively campaigning for regional parties.[3].Jagan Mania had gripped from last year itself especially among youth, women and children.[4]. He won as M.P from kadapa in 2009 Lok Sabha elections.

In his public life has worked for the welfare of women and children and the underprivileged sections of society. For their benefit, he opened a charitable trust which organized medical camps all through the state.[5].

The Allotment of land to Raguram cements in muddanur mandal, its reported that Pennar Cements Managing Director P. Pratap Reddy purchased the title and applied for permission to set up the factory.[2].
The allotment of 487 acres of land in March 2007 to Raghuram Cements [6], which had jagan as one of its directors, was criticised by the opposition parties.[7]

Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy is married to Bharathi. They have a daughter.
